Over the past few years i’ve been making some practical effects for my Warhammer games!
Using Cotton Batting, Polyester pillow stuffing, PVA and Crazy glue and a bit of paint, YOU TOO can make effects for your tabletop games!
What you will need:
White Glue (PVA)
Crazy Glue
Cotton Batting
Polyester pillow stuffing
Red and Yellow paint
Black spray or black acrylic paint
Applying White glue to a small piece of cotton batting, and Crazy glue to the tooth pick, wrap the tooth pick in the cotton. PVA and crazy glue cure Very fast together (moisture acts as a catalyst to crazy glue)
Once dry, paint in yellow/red/orange colours.
now glue a small piece of stuffing to the top half of the cotton with PVA and crazy glue again and apply a spray dusting or drybrush of black to the stuffing and Voila!
