Mallus Darkblade Vs Plague Lord Skrolk Pt2 WFB 6e.

Matt and I played another epic game of these two characters. The 1st game was a blast but we forgot a couple things and Here follows a detailed record of that second grim encounter!

The table. An opposite of game one where it was a central hill, this table used a central pass flanked by hills.
Skaven List. total 2460.
Dark Elf List
Turn one goes to the DE as they had a +1
Dark Riders move up the flank onto the wooded hill
Skaven line. Rat ogres eye the dark riders.
Skaven Turn one movement. Frenzied plague monks and censer bearers move to within range of a DE charge.
Rat ogres move to within spitting distance of the dark riders.
Skrolk belches forth a stream of corruption killing two Dark Elf Spearmen
Dark Elves Charge!
The DE spears pass their break test after losing combat
Censer Bearers suffer a few wounds,break, outpace the Hydra with a roll of 11 but not before they inflicted one wound from their noxious censer vapor
Turn Two Skaven Charges!
The Doomwheel Misfires with its warp lighting and two S10 bolts are drawn to Mallus’ Armour cooking him alive within!
The doomwheel explodes before it can do any impact hits but the enemy general is dead-killed!
Globadiers kill one of their own attempting to harass the cold one riders
Jezzails fire at the Hydra
T2 combats sees the DE spears and chariot Flee
Against the combined forces of 42 skaven slaves on their flank and Lord skrolk to their front
They are pursued and destroyed!
Plague Rats approach the Bolt throwers
Globadiers attempt to flee from the Cold ones but fail to get to a safe distance
Another wave crashes against Skrolk and his retinue of plague monks
Skrolk is broken but gets away!
Flee run!
Skrolk Rallies and is again charged! The Clanrats and Slaves turn to help…
Chariot, Executioners, and dark riders to the flank, it seems a dark day for Skrolk.
Jezzails flee in fear from coldones
Bolt thrower crew hold for a turn against a seething mass of rats but are eventually overrun
Hydra snipes the lone ratling fleeing the field
Skrolk is broken in combat and flees!
Rolling a 5 to flee, Skrolk is overrun and laid low! The plague lord is dead, long live the plague lord.
Slaves move to take the last bolt thrower and secure the table quarter
Engineer Warp fires the remaining dark riders to get the Vic points
End of Game table positioning. Rats move to the centre to contest another table quarter, Clan rats and BSB drive the sorcerer to flee. This was a great back and forth. Both Generals were slain and a it was a minimal Points difference: 448=Minor Victory to the Ratmen!
